Barista

To provide extraordinary and efficient customer service at the counter, and within our store.   The Barrista must ensure excellent standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and product quality are maintained. Barristas ensure that all loyal customers are well looked after and provided with a consistant food and coffe offer in a professional mannor. Also a Barrista must ensure all new trainees are properly trained and supported in their new roles.

In addition the Barrista must complete all tasks to the stated Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) policies and Food Safety Standards.

In addition to following Hattrick’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides quality customer service at the console
  • Production of great coffee and food
  • Conducts housekeeping and merchandising checks
  • Secures cash and manages the shift to balance
  • Complies with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) and Food Safety Standards
  • Handles customer/supplier complaints efficiently and in a friendly manner
  • Promotes Fly Buys
  • Develops and maintains great working relationships with all site staff members, Site Leader, Operations Managers and Retailers.
  • Is always looking for ways to improve our processes for the benefit of both staff and customers
  • Completes other tasks on site when required
  • Coaches new staff on arrival
  • Trains new team mates on all aspects of graveyarder duties
